The JFD boys had a great day walleye fishing today. 100 plus per boat. Better yet nothing was broken. The fall bite has started. Muskys and northerns were caught in good numbers yesterday. Just a side note for you guys who know the NW group ask them how they got lost going to the river. Lots of good stories this week, many we can't print. The walleyes seem to be migrating on the big water. You can find them close to deep water on breaks. Many on the weeds are dying off now and fish are moving out.
We have seen more moose activity on the roads the last two days. Bow season opens saturday. One more week and the moose should really be going, a little cold weather should help. I'll be guiding the first two weeks and will have much more moose talk soon.
